Western Dental Services Inc. is looking for a full-time Dental Consultant to join our Qualtity Management Team! Our Dental Consultants perform clinical chart reviews, provide mentoring to our dentists, and much more!

• Reviews dental charts for potential quality issues.
• Reviews referral, pre-authorizations, and claims requests for appropriate approval or denial of benefits.
• Review of patient/member grievances and assistance with preparing resolutions.
• Participates in committees and activities related to credentialing, peer review, quality improvement, utilization review and others, as needed.
• Provides clinical mentoring to company-employed and contracted dentists.

• A minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
• Must have and continuously maintain an active, unencumbered California Dental License.
• CADP Certified Auditor (can be earned upon being hired).
• Dedication to excellent service.
• Ability to work in a regulatory environment with very strict timeliness and accruacy requirements.
• Ability to work ina fast paced, professional environment.
• Ability to meet required deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
