Overview

The  Traveling Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) at FCL/Sonrava serves as the key liaison for our patients, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. In this role, the PCC will travel to different Nursing Homes with the dentist, will greet patients warmly, present the Oraquest plan, and cultivate lasting relationships. The PCC must possess exceptional communication skills, a genuine passion for outstanding customer service, and a talent for sales. The ultimate goal of the Patient Care Coordinator is to make every patient feel valued and at ease, delivering the Ultimate Patient Experience during each visit.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

 

  • Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.
  • Greet patients in a timely, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Introduce new patients to the staff.
  • Provide patient consultations and communicate information about recommended treatments.
  • Discuss/present the Oraquest plan to the patient/responsible party (will be fully trained).
  • Build lasting relationships with patients by contacting them to follow up on visits to suggest new or alternative treatments.
  • Nurture the patient relationship to encourage patient retention.
  • Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
  • Supports strategic local marketing initiatives that help drive brand awareness and new patient growth

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Preferred dental office experience.
  • Preferred experience with dental insurance.
  • Preferred experience with Denticon/Dentrix.
  • Preferred Nursing Home experience but not required.

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Two (2) years of sales, customer service or related work experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish-English skills preferred.
  • Ability to handle patient concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment positively and proactively.
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Friendly, outgoing, and motivated personality

 

Work Environment and Conditions:

 

  • Travel to different Nursing Homes.
  • Safety procedures and personal protective equipment are required to minimize the risks from X-rays and blood-borne pathogens.
  • Potential of prolonged sitting and standing
