Overview

The Chief of Staff is a strategic and operational leader who works closely with the CEO to drive company-wide priorities and communicate objectives across the organization. The Chief of Staff will act as a thought partner to the CEO while managing strategic projects, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and facilitating decision-making.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business consulting and operations, coupled with a passion for aligning teams to collaborate effectively and deliver on outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought partner on cross functional operational and strategic topics including but not limited to areas of operational improvement, internal and external communications, and stakeholder management
  • Oversee business reviews, including agenda development, and action item tracking
  • Oversee the company's objective and key results process, collaborating with leadership teams to set, execute, and refine measurable goals
  • Support the development and implementation of solutions for the organization’s most pressing and complex challenges, clearing the challenges, and ensuring absolute alignment with business objectives
  • Assist in the formation and execution of the organization’s strategic plans, with a focus on enhancing cross-functional coordination, scalability, efficiency, and organizational growth
  • Develop senior executive-ready communications and presentations that clearly outline strategic priorities
  • Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare management, or a related field, advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, private equity, or similar roles requiring analytical and strategic expertise
  • Experience in cross-functional project execution through consulting or operational leadership
  • A track record of taking ownership and executing with precision even in unstructured environments

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytics skills to decipher data, synthesize insights, and make clear recommendations
  • Deep understanding of business operations and financial management
  • Proven experience in building and interpreting financial models that drive strategic decisions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and identify key meetings to deliver on outcomes
  • Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for data visualization and analysis
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quantitative skills and comfort with financial models, data analysis, and reporting
