The Manager, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is responsible for managing HR system implementations, optimizing existing platforms, and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
The Manager will lead initiatives that impact the entire organization, ensuring HR technology solutions drive efficiency, improve data integrity, and support the Sonrava Health broader HR strategy. This position collaborates closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal, and IT to define and implement process improvements and automation that enhance the employee experience.
HR Technology Leadership: Develop and execute the HR systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and HR strategy. Lead the implementation of new HR system modules, managing security, configuring workflows, and overseeing testing. Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to enhance HRIS functionality and user adoption.
Team Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to the HRIS team. Support HR functional areas in optimizing processes and adopting system-driven efficiencies. Serve as the escalation point for HRIS-related issues and system-related inquiries.
Process Optimization and Compliance: Conduct regular audits and process reviews to improve data accuracy and identify automation opportunities. Ensure HRIS compliance with SOX, data security, and privacy regulations. Manage SOX control testing, prepare reports, and respond to auditor inquiries. Document internal processes, training manuals, and security controls to support system governance.
Data and Reporting: Oversee role-based security administration and safeguard sensitive user data. Leverage HR technology to create data-driven solutions for business challenges. Ensure HR systems provide accurate and timely analytics and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, HRBPs, Total Rewards, Payroll, and IT to align HRIS capabilities with business needs. Act as a partner in HR technology decisions, promoting automation and process efficiency. Provide guidance on system enhancements, integrations, and optimizations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and minimum 4 years of HR experience, with 2 years in a leadership role
Technology Proficiency: Previous experience with UKG Pro (Ultipro), iCIMS and Workforce Management (WFM) preferred
Information Systems Expertise: Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving technical HRIS issues, implementation of solutions, and familiarity with role-based security administration and system permissions
Team Management: Experience leading HRIS team and project management
